 Why a car page? Simple...because I wanted to post a few photos of my car, and I didn't want to register an account on the biggest flame war short of the Yahoo! message boards: CarDomain. Especially now, I don't plan on modding anything to any great extent, and I don't need posts from kids reminding me how boring my car is and how their Civic rollin' on 18-inch rims could kick my ass on the drag strip. But nevertheless, I am proud of my car, and so I had to do something to immortalize it. It's a 1996 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 with around 96,000 miles as of November 2005. I bought her in August 2002 (with parental help, of course), just in time for my junior year of college. In those two years of school, we shared plenty of solo and group treks between New Hampshire and New York, plenty of campus-taxi runs carting people to Wal-Mart and the grocery store, plenty of relaxing drives on summer nights, and even a few times when the operator looked stupid in front of friends or acquaintances. It's getting dangerously close to that time when an aging car must yield way to something newer...but I haven't found anything that excites me just yet. Besides, it's hard to throw away the memories.
