Writings

I've always had a thing for writing. Actually, I point back to 7th grade when a friend of mine showed a story he had written. I said to myself, "I can do that," and got into fiction writing. Originally, the stories were corny New England-based "X-Files" ripoffs that stalled for about a year and a half or so after six "episodes." I came back to them, realized it was futile and quit while I was as ahead as I could be. I kept writing various stories for a bit, felt a lot of them were crap, and then decided last year to do something worthwhile.

I've posted a few excerpts from various stories for your enjoyment. In some cases, I've made the stories available for download, too.

Major Works

There are always those things you take more seriously than others, spend more time on than others, and in many cases, aren't just hunting for a better grade on.

Senioritis
A major work in progress, going on four years now. Will it ever be finished? Only time can tell.

The Investigation Stories
Think "X-Files," only more scientific anomalies and psychos and fewer aliens. This was my first attempt at a series of any sort.

Track Record
Auto racing was all I thought about, so writing about it was the next logical step...right?

The Small Stuff

And then there are the quickie works, the ones that probably did get a grade at some point, but for whatever reason they're still near and dear to you...

"Muse At Ten"
A case of writer's block solved by the powers of the muse. Perhaps the hottest story I've ever written.

"All Is Fair"
My tribute to a long family tradition of setting that one day out of the year where you can long to be a farmer.
